It’s Time

God is calling you into your next season

One year ago, I sat down in complete obedience to God and wrote my very first blog post for Blooming Beautiful.

I had no idea then where this journey would take me.

Over the past eight months, so much has happened in my life, both good and hard. But through it all, one thing has remained constant: God has been with me every step of the way, leading, guiding, and protecting me.

Now here I sit, in my home in Asheville, NC, one year later… starting again. If someone had told me on my birthday last year that I would be where I am today, I would have said, “Yeah, right, that’s impossible.”

But we serve a God who makes the impossible possible.

God Was Working in the Quiet

First, I want to say, I’m sorry for my absence here. I’ve learned something in this season…
Just because it’s quiet doesn’t mean God isn’t working.

In the chaos, He was preparing me, shaping me, and growing me. And now, I feel Him calling me back.

There is so much on my heart to share, and I’m praying that God leads every word I write moving forward, that each post reaches exactly who it’s meant for.

When God Reignites the Fire

Over the past few months, I started to feel it again… that desire to write.

I began praying:
“God, reignite this passion in me. Show me Your purpose. Let it burn strong again.” And I waited.

Because I’ve learned not to rush ahead but to move when He says it’s time.

The Season That Stretched Me

The last 8 months have been full. I’ve been remodeling a home, working to make it livable, feeling overwhelmed, stressed, and stretched in ways I didn’t expect.

But even in the chaos, there has been so much joy.
Living closer to family.
Spending time together again.
Seeing God open doors I never imagined possible.

Still, I couldn’t quiet my mind long enough to write. I didn’t know where to begin.

And deep down, I knew…
When it was time, God would make it clear.

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every avctivity under the heavens.” Ecclesiates 3:1

“It Is Time.”

On Easter morning, everything changed.

I was in the kitchen preparing for family to come to my home, something that hadn’t happened in over 5 years since I had moved away. And can I say… there is something about the kitchen.
Is it just me, or does it feel like a place where the Holy Spirit shows up?

I had worship music playing.
I was singing, dancing, crying… and then on my knees in prayer, completely in His presence.

And then I heard it—clear as day:

“It is time.”

In that moment, I knew.
God was calling me back to write.

“When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.” Isaiah 60:22

A New Season, A Renewed Purpose

I set a goal right then to begin again before the end of the month. And what better time than exactly one year from my first post?

Last year on my birthday, I was in a place of hurt and uncertainty.
This year, I was surrounded by family, filled with joy, and overwhelmed with gratitude.

What a difference a year and God’s grace can make.

What’s Coming Next on Blooming Beautiful

This post is just the beginning. When I first started Blooming Beautiful, I shared about heartbreak, healing, and self-discovery, and those topics will continue to be part of this space.

But this next season… will be a journey you don’t want to miss, because life is a journey.
And we are all walking through different seasons, challenges, and growth at the same time.

I’ll be sharing more of my journey with you.
How God has moved.
What He has taught me.
And how He continues to lead me forward.

What God Has Been Teaching Me

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this:

  • Trust God first, always.
  • Don’t get caught up in the “If I were you…” voices around you.
  • Place your faith and hope fully in Jesus.
  • Take life one day at a time.

And in those daily moments…
Be still.
Listen.
And obey.

Because God’s plans for your life are greater than anything you could imagine.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord… – Jeremiah 29:11

🌸 Until next time, keep blooming into the beautiful woman God created you to be from the inside out.
